Wings of the Wild: A Birding Adventure at Eagle Point
Eagle Point Park, Riverfront Pavilion
June 25 | 6 – 7 PM
About the event:
Birds are like a living pulse for our environment—when they’re thriving, it’s a great sign the whole ecosystem is healthy. By getting to know our feathered neighbors and learning what they need to survive, we can take the right steps to protect birds and their necessary habitats.
Step away from the digital world and sharpen your gaze for an evening dedicated to the birdlife of Eagle Point Park. On June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM, we’re trading the hum of the city for the movement in the canopy, immersing ourselves in the hunt for seasonal migrants and resident species alike. This outing is a chance to escape the manmade landscape and focus entirely on the natural world, learning to spot subtle field marks and observe the fascinating behaviors of birds in their element. We’ll meet at the Riverfront Pavilion at Eagle Point Park, then walk through the park in search of birds to see and hear.
Please bring your binoculars, but don’t worry if you don’t have a pair—a few loaners will be available for you to use. Let’s head into the field and see who we can find!
