Nature Anthology Release Party

About: The Dubuque Area Writers Guild (DAWG) has existed for over 40 years but had gone dormant after Covid. Last year, we revived the DAWG, publishing an anthology on connections and a special issue on migrants plus had nine members attend the Luther College Writers Festival. This year we are publishing an anthology themed on nature and another special issue plus are planning our first writing workshop in late April and tentatively have one planned for October. Our mission is to support the local writing community, especially young, aspiring writers.
On June 12th at 6:00 p.m. at River Lights Bookstore in Dubuque, the Dubuque Area Writers Guild will release its annual anthology, this year focused on nature. The event will include public readings by multiple authors pluse drinks and snacks. Copies of the anthology will be available for purchase.
